Foam Direct Will Replace Any Incorrectly Supplied Product

Foam Direct’s returns policy complies with the EU Distance Selling Directive. The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, is now established in UK law. Foam Direct customers accept and acknowledge that products and services offered by Foam Direct are all ‘made to order products’ (e.g. foam cut to size) As such, these regulations do not apply.

The cost of return postage is non-refundable and the responsibility of the customer to cover. That is unless, it is deemed that the product was damaged on arrival, is faulty or is incorrect. Generally, Foam Direct is charged more by the courier than what is charged for postage. We make no profit on the cost of postage for deliveries.

If you require a collection service, Foam Direct can offer a goods collection service for a fee of £30.00. The customer is not obligated to make use of this service and is free to arrange the return of goods on their own terms.

The goods must be retained by the customer and cared for until they are returned. They must be unused, in the original packaging, in the same condition that they were received in and made available for collection.

Any distinct odours coming from your foam is likely a result of off-gassing. This is entirely normal and is not harmful. Off-gassing can occur when new foam is cut. It is generally not noticeable but can vary in intensity. On rare occasions, the smell can take several weeks to dissipate. Allowing the foam to ‘air out’ in a well-ventilated area should speed up the process.

Also, it is normal for foam to vary in colour. Colour variance does not affect the quality of foam. Foam can change colour naturally with exposure to light and due to oxidisation. Your foam may show signs of yellowing in areas because of this. All foam is susceptible to this natural process. We are unable to accept returns based solely on colour variance or off-gassing.
